The site builder allows you to create a website in just a few minutes! The site assistant will ask you a few simple questions and generate a base for your website. The base website is easy to edit with the site builder tool in Wordpress. Follow the instructions below to get started.

Upgrade your hosting plan

To upgrade your hosting plan, follow these instructions:

1. Login to My account here.
2. Click on My domains in the menu at the top.
3. Select the domain in the list
4. Under Active services click on Order upgrade
5. Select the Web Pro plan or a larger hosting package.
6. Click on Order upgrade to confirm the upgrade.
7. Wait 20-30 minutes for the upgrade to get completed.

Checklist before you get started

Create a new MySQL database and perform a quick installation of Wordpress. You can delete content in your folder by performing a Wordpress quick installation.

You can also delete content with an FTP program such as Cyberduck or FileZilla.

Follow these instructions to get started:

1. Log in to My account here.
2. Click on My domains.
3. Select the domain in the list.
4. Click on Web hosting in the menu
5. Under Virtual hosts click on View/change.
6. Create a host name and directory, i.e. the host name www.mydomain.com and directory www.
7. Click + to create the connection. When prompted answer Yes to create the new directory/folder.
8. To create a new database, go to MySQL → View/change → Create new database.

Wordpress quick installation

The next step is to make a quick installation of Wordpress. Follow the instructions below:

1. Go to Web hosting. Under "Wordpress quick installation" click on Get started.
2. Select your virtual host and folder, i.e. www.mydomain.com or test.mydomain.com and your folder.
3. Under Select product click on Smart sitebuilder with AI.
4. Choose preferred language, WP username, email address and password.
5. Click on Install and wait for the installation to complete.

Log in to your Wordpress site with your login credentials. The link for logging in would be something like www.mydomain.com/wp-admin.

We recommend bookmarking the URL in your web browser for easy access. If prompted to save your username and password in your browser you can do that as well, or keep it safely stored somewhere.

Use the Site Assistant in Wordpress

The first time you log in after the installation process, the site assistant will ask you a few simple questions to create a template for your website:

1. Select an industry matching the website you want to create.
2. Name the website (can be changed later) → Next.
3. Select Single-Page Website or Multi-Page Website → Next.
4. Select goals for the website → Next.
5. Choose a design (can be personialized later) → Next.
6. Pick the pages to add to your website → Next.
7. Add a description and select the tone for AI generated content → Next.
8. Wait for the site builder to create your website.
