How do I change my password?

It depends on which password we are talking about:

• Control panel - (Applies to: www.domainnameshop.com/login)
• Email user - (Applies to: webmail.domeneshop.no - or in an email app/program)
• Web hotel / FTP - (Applies to: sidebygger.domeneshop.no - or FTP clients, eg Cyberduck)
• Database / MySQL - (Applies to: phpmyadmin.domeneshop.no - or SQL clients)

The control panel

1. Log in at www.domainnameshop.com/login
2. Select Account information in the menu on the left
3. Scroll all the way down the page and press Change password:

Email user

Passwords for e-mail accounts can be changed either by the account administrator or by the individual user via webmail:

Via the control panel: (This is the only option if you have forgotten your e-mail password)

1. Account administrator logs in at www.domainnameshop.com/login
2. Click on My Domains
3. Select the relevant domain
4. Click on Manage email on the right of the page
5. Then click Show advanced settings
6. Scroll down to Email user accounts and click Change password in the dropdown to the right of the user in question

Via webmail: (Only possible if you remember the old e-mail password)

1. Log in at webmail.domeneshop.no
2. Click on Settings
3. Then click on Password
4. Enter the desired password and finally press Save

Web hosting / FTP

1. Log in at www.domainnameshop.com/login
2. Click on My Domains
3. Select the relevant domain
4. Click on Manage web hosting on the right of the page
5. Click More info to the right of FTP
6. Then click on Change password

Database / MySQL

1. Log in at www.domainnameshop.com/login
2. Click on My Domains
3. Select the relevant domain
4. Click on Manage web hosting on the right of the page
5. Click View/Change to the right of MySQL
6. Click on "..." to the right of your database then Change password
