2021-12-13 09:00: Fraud attempt aimed at Domainnameshop customers
We have received multiple reports during the weekend and today from customers that have received a phishing email about a purported expired domain name.

The subject typically states that the domainname is suspended, will expire, or similar text. The message may be in English or Norwegian, and contains a phishing link about updating your payment information.

The email claims to be from "Domainnameshop", but the email adddress is not ours. The link in the email likely leads to a fake login page emulating our own, which will steal your information.

These messages are not from Domainnameshop. The message should be deleted, and no links should be opened.

If you have entered any credentials into the phishing page, you should immediately change your login password through our website.

If you have entered any payment information in a payment form, you should immediately contact your bank or card issuer.
