Messages will be posted here if and when we identify network or service errors lasting more than 5 minutes, or in case we make system changes that we think will affect our users. Messages older than 2 months will not be displayed, unless they contain currently relevant information.

The hardware error in one server for incoming emails is now solved.

It may take some hours before the challenge with delayed emails are resolved.

2026-10-28 12:28: Server error delays incoming email
One of our incoming email servers has a hardware failure, which may cause incoming email to be delayed.

We are working to find a solution to this.

2026-10-26 12:44: Solved: delayed incoming email
The issue involving a large number of delayed incoming emails has now been resolved on our end.

Emails that could not be delivered to us will likely arrive later today.

Note! It is up to the sender's email provider to decide when to re-attempt delivery of a previously delayed message; we have no control over this.

2026-10-23 09:56: Delayed incoming emails - an update
We see that many delayed messages have come through during the night, but the high load has returned this morning and throughout the forenoon.

We are still working on finding solutions to this.

Our email servers for incoming email are experiencing high load, which results in delayed incoming emails.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

2026-10-22 10:10: More PHP security updates
Overnight, our vendor released several PHP security updates, including some for older PHP versions.

These updates have been made available as they were released and we have subsequently been installing these on the web servers.

We expect that the older PHP versions will also be fully updated by 1:00 PM today.

2026-10-21 20:53: PHP security update - status
Some of our customers have asked about the status of PHP security updates, following recent media coverage on the subject.

As a standard procedure, we apply security updates to our system software several times a day?as soon as stable updates become available. We generally do not issue operational notices for every single update, as this can easily be perceived as unnecessary noise; however, we fully understand the heightened attention surrounding this particular update.

We have followed our established procedures for today?s critical PHP updates as well. Our PHP-based web server backends have been updated progressively throughout the afternoon, with the work completed at approximately 20:00.

2026-10-20 07:08: UpdraftPlus - critical security incident
We have been informed that UpdraftPlus have had a critical security incident.

We would like to remind you that UpdraftPlus is not allowed on our web hosting.

We are working to map the extent of compromised webhosting among our customers. Affected customers will be notified.

2026-10-06 19:36: WordPress 7.1.3 critical security update
WordPress released a critical security update today: version 7.1.3. They also have updates for older versions.

NOTE: While updates are in progress, websites may appear slow.

Regardless, we ask all customers who use WordPress to update to 7.1.3, 7.0.7 or 6.9.10 as soon as possible.

All versions that have security support receive updates from WordPress, from version 4.7 up to and including 7.1.

Customers who have enabled automatic updates must themselves check that the update has been completed.

A few customers are experiencing slowness with our webmail.

We are working to establish whether the cause is on our side.

WordPress released a critical security update today: version 7.1.2. Updates are also available for older versions.

Note: Websites may run slowly while updates are in progress.

In any case, we ask all customers using WordPress to update to version 7.1.2, 7.0.6, or 6.9.9 as soon as possible.

All versions receiving security support?from version 4.7 up to and including 7.1?are getting updates from WordPress.

Customers who have enabled automatic updates should verify that the update has been performed.

2026-09-11 11:11: Resolved: Unstable Unix shell server
The unstable Unix shell server issues have been resolved as of September 9th.

We waited two days to report back because we wanted to monitor the situation.

2026-09-08 07:13: Unstable Unix shell server
Our Unix shell server (login.domeneshop.no/shell.domeneshop.no) is occasionally unstable.

Although the shell server is only intended for short-term maintenance jobs, this is not desirable, and we are working to fix the stability.
