Sitebuilder AI User Guide

This user guide is intended as a tool to help you get started with the page builder. Here you will find an introduction to the different tools at your disposal, as well as some useful tips and tricks.

Page Assistant

The Page Assistant is located at the top left of your WordPress dashboard and helps you get started editing your website. Here you will find the site guide, quick links, and the WordPress help center.

1. Website Guide

This will be your starting point in the page builder. Here you will find step-by-step instructions in the page builder that will help you edit a website. You will be presented with a list of different actions you can perform, and then you simply follow the instructions. For example, you will find articles on how to edit a page with AI, use the help center to solve problems, create images with AI, explore the design library, upload a logo, create an icon for your website, and much more.

2. Help Center

Knowledge database

Here you will find useful articles with tips and tricks in WordPress. Use the search function to find answers to things you are wondering about, such as how to upload images you want to use. The articles contain good tutorials with screenshots and videos. A very useful tool if you are new to WordPress.

Tours

Here you have simple guides to useful features in WordPress. You will get a tour that includes interactive demos, so you can easily learn how to use WordPress more effectively.

AI chatbot

The chatbot is an expert on WordPress and can be used for many different things in the page builder. You can ask it for help to improve the performance of your site, create AI-generated articles, AI-generated images, etc.

3. Page overview

The page overview can be found via the WordPress control panel ? Pages (see screenshot above) .

Here you can create new pages and edit existing pages with a few keystrokes. For example, you can start with blank pages on a page, and use the design library's pre-built components to create a new page.

To create a new page, click Add New Page . This will open the design library that allows you to design the new page you want to create. Here you can choose from a large selection of ready-made layouts (see screenshot below) .

You can easily edit an existing page by clicking Edit under the page you want to change (see screenshot below) .

Here you can make changes by clicking on the Design Library via the toolbar at the top. You can also edit the page via the control panel on the right.

4. The AI assistant

The AI assistant is your little helper when it comes to your site content. It can help you with article creation, images, SEO, and overall site performance.

Text

The AI assistant can help you create content. It can write an article, a description of a product/service, create a blog post or similar. The AI assistant helps you generate the text based on the instructions you give it. If you are more specific in the description you give, the text will be more tailored to your preferences.

Pictures

You can create AI-generated images with the AI assistant. Note! This service has a limit of 10 AI-generated images per day. Via the design library you also have an image gallery where you can search for free images that you can use on the page. You can also use well-known websites to download free images, and then you can search for Pexels and Unsplash via search engine. NB! Remember to check the license of the images you download. Some images may have restrictions on use, while others can be used freely.

The images you will use on your site should be edited so that the file size is optimized for the web. This can be done in programs such as Photoshop , Gimp , Canva and similar. Remember to save the images in the correct format ( .jpg , .png or .webp ). Optimized images will contribute to improved performance. A good rule of thumb is that images should not be larger than 200kb in file size.

SEO

SEO stands for search engine optimization . The AI assistant includes AISEO , which is an extension that helps you improve this. It helps you make your website visible in search engines on the Internet (Google, Bing, etc.) .

AISEO provides you with a dedicated user interface that assists you with this. The extension analyzes the content on your page and gives you a score from 0 to 100. Here, content, metadata, headers and structure of the page are factors that come into play. Metadata are words that you think visitors will search for to find your page. In short, SEO makes sense to a search engine and helps potential visitors find your website.

Help

To request help from the AI assistant, click Help in the top right of the toolbar, or by clicking Ask AI via the Help Center in the bottom right. The AI assistant can help you with administrative tasks and suggest smart solutions for your site. For example, you can use the AI assistant to help improve website performance.

5. General tips in WordPress

Extensions

When you create a site in WordPress, there are a huge number of extensions (plugins) to choose from. We recommend that you stick to as few as possible, that is, only use the ones that you find most useful. If you find an extension you want to use, check feedback from other users. The number of feedback can be a good indicator of whether the extension is good or not.

Clean up extensions you don't want to use. You do this by deleting an extension, not just deactivating it. You can find an overview of your extensions in the control panel on the left side of WordPress via Extensions . This helps to secure your WordPress site from security holes that can be exploited by hackers.

Turn on automatic updates

For better security and overall performance, we recommend turning on automatic updates for your WordPress version, extensions, and theme. This will contribute to a more secure website.

You can turn on automatic updates via General in the WordPress control panel. Here you can check Automatic updates . This will help ensure that your WordPress site is up to date at all times and that you have the latest security updates.

Improve performance
