Can my email address contain æ, ø and å (IMAA)?
Internationalized characters to the left of the @ character in email addresses is a coming standard (IMAA, Internationalized Mail Addresses in Applications). There are no email clients currently supporting this. However, several clients support internationalized characters to the right of @ character. This is called IDN.
