Frequently asked questions

Although MySQL databases are included in Web hosting Medium and larger, it is not activated by default. We do not offer MySQL for Web hosting Starter. To activate the database, do the following:

1. Log into My account
2. Click "My domains"
3. Click the domain on which you would like to activate the database
4. Click the "Web hosting" pane at the top of the page
5. Click "View/change" next to the MySQL row

Here you can click "Create new database". A new database will be created, and log in details will be available from this same page in a short while. The details will also be emailed to you once the database is ready for use.
