How do I read email with Apple Mail for Mac (POP3)?

How to configure Apple Mail (MacOS 10.4, the menus are slightly different in 10.5 "Leopard") with domainnameshop.com: First, choose "Mail|Preferences", and choose the "Accounts" tab. You will see a list of those email accounts already configured.

Click on the "+"-sign on the bottom left of the screen to add a new account. Choose "POP" in the field for account type.

When you have filled all the fields, click "Continue", and fill in all the information for the incoming mail server.

If you select our SMTP server (smtp.domeneshop.no), remember to check the box for "Use Authentication", and leave SSL and password in the next screen. After your account is created, you may need to change the port number for outgoing e-mail to 587.
