The domain I want is available with other registrars, but not with you. Why?
The majority of Internet providers and registrars employ
WHOIS to find the availability of a domain. This is not an accurate method due to the WHOIS information being 2-3 days old, and to some reserved domains reported available in WHOIS. We preferentially use other and more reliable sources than WHOIS in order to check the availability of a domain. If our system reports that a domain is not available, it cannot be registered, despite what other registrars may say. This can occur when a domain is reserved or restricted in some way or the other, is recently registered by someone else, contains too few characters or an illegal combination of characters, is suspended or quarantined after being registered by someone else etc.
