There are several different usernames and passwords you can have in connection with your domain name at Domainnameshop:
Control Panel
With username and password for logging in to "My account" at www.domeneshop.no/login you can log in and make changes to your setup , e.g. change contact information, manage e-mail users or DNS pointers.
The username for logging in to "My Account" is always an email address. Username and password were sent to you by email when your account was created in connection with a domain being registered or moved to Domainnameshop.
If you have forgotten your username or password for administration, you can be sent a one-time code by going to domainname.shop/lostpassword and enter one of the domains on your account.
Email-user
With a username and password for e-mail users, you can send and receive e-mail, either through our webmail, or through your own e-mail programs/ apps.
If your domain name is "mittnavn.no", the e-mail usernames will typically be "mittnavn1", "mittnavn2" etc.
If you have forgotten one of your e-mail usernames and/or passwords, you must first have access to the control panel.

Web hosting, FTP, site builder, and SSH
With a username and password for FTP, you can login with FTP clients (e.g. Cyberduck), the site builder, statistics or UNIX shell (SSH). SSH is only available if you have Web Medium or higher.
If your domain name is "mittnavn.no", the username will typically be "mittnavn".
If you have forgotten your FTP username and/or password, you must first have access to the control panel.

Database / MySQL
Username and password for MySQL are used to connect to your MySQL database, which is only available to Web Medium or greater.
If your domain name is "mittnavn.no", the MySQL username will typically be "mittnavn".
If you have forgotten your MySQL username and/or password, you must first have access to the control panel.
