As our servers with MariaDB 10.0 are reaching end of security support from our upstream providers, we will replace our last server with MariaDB 10.0 in early October.
During September, MariaDB 10.0 customers will, at no cost, be upgraded to MariaDB 10.3, which is backwards compatible with 10.0.
The upgrade is seamless for most customers, but some customers with very large/extensive databases may experience some downtime.
Several customers who have suffered performance issues on one of our MariaDB 10.0 servers have already been upgraded to 10.3.
We also would like to remind you of the new rate limits we have in place for external MySQL connections to the new servers.
