Option for postponing
Customers who have upgraded themselves or who have been automatically upgraded, have the option to downgrade for up to 14 days after the upgrade started. HTTPS customers must be manually handled by a technician.
This option is removed 1 June 2017.
At the middle of 2016, the technical security support for the PHP 5.5 platform was terminated, but we have ensured extended security support even after this. We regretfully cannot postpone the decommissioning of PHP 5.5 servers beyond June 2017.
In case of critical security vulnerabilities we may be forced to expedite the last stages of the upgrade schedule. This is why we have made every effort that all customers should be upgraded to the PHP 5.5 platform within the end of May 2017, and that only selected customers with very special requirements are permitted to continue using the PHP 5.5 platform in the beginning of June 2017.
